Jim asked everyone for ideas on a future meeting place.

The Tackle Box, Legion, NI College and Rod and Gun Club were mentioned.

Paul talked about concerns from Rod and Gun executive about damage to tables etc when allowing clubhouse to be rented out in the past so this might not be a viable option.

Paul gave an update on the concerns of the Gold River Rod and Gun Club over the Stream Keepers doing too much on Hutchinson Creek and suggested that we step back from this project until requested by the R&G Club to participate.

Paul explained that they have been trying for years to save fry in the system and we might have unintentionally stepped on some toes.

It was mentioned that most of the Stream Keeper members were also R&G Club members so what is the problem.

Paul commented that there is some confusion over what is being done by whom and it is in the best interest of all if we just participate when asked to do so.

Paul said that Roger’s presentation should be tabled until such a time when Roger will let us know if or when he will give the presentation to us.

Mike Cox talked about the riparian planting on the side channel.

John Banas moved to adjourn.

Chris seconded.

Next meeting is May 21/02 at 7:00 pm place to be determined.
